About Sherington Shooting Centre

Sherington Shooting Centre is associated with Peter Gardner Gunsmiths, whose family have lived in the village of Sherington for 140 years.

We are a small family business based close to the M1 and Newport Pagnell in North Buckinghamshire. We have been established as a Shooting Centre for over 25 years and operate from a private shooting ground comprising 22 Acres, a natural grass and woodland.

We specialise in corporate entertainment, group shoots and private lessons, though we do have a weekly open ‘practice’ shoot on Saturday, to which all experienced shots are welcome. As well as clay shooting, we can also offer archery to add variety to a corporate or group event.

About Learning to Shoot

At Sherington Shooting Centre we can teach you to shoot with a shotgun at clay pigeons in a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere. Lessons are available at most times of the week, though we do take Sundays off! You will be given individual attention and as much time as you need. Our maximum ratio is one instructor to six pupils so you are welcome to bring a friend(s) for a joint lesson. For lessons, we can provide both 12 bore and smaller shotguns, suitable for those of slighter build.
